After 4 1/2 amazing years of being in the Winter Park district, the Designzillas team has officially migrated back to it’s origin - Downtown Orlando. This ferocious group has made their mark in the web design industry and have determined that they belong in the heart of Central Florida to continue dominating the web design food chain.

The Zilla Origin

Designzillas was founded in 2006 by Johnny Hughes. Armed with little more than a laptop, a diploma from UCF, and Shark Bites jelly snacks, he set out on a mission to succeed in the market he loved so much. His philosophy was simple - exceed customer's expectations through impeccable design, strong communication and unmatched customer service. Designzillas was born in a 200sqft loft in downtown Orlando and quickly bloomed into one of the most prestigious and reputable web design and marketing agencies throughout Central Florida.

Incubating in the Cave

In 2007 the team (much smaller then) moved to the Winter Park district, into what’s known as the Cave. Located off of 1792 and Lee Road, the team officially had the glue needed to incubate these ideas, skills, and capabilities. The Cave became a critical location for the team as they grew in popularity, size, and reputation. Incubating for 3 years in the Cave while mastering the workflow between creative minds, development skills, and marketing capabilities;  Designzillas emerged as a Winter Park web design powerhouse.

Learning to Breath Fire in the Lair

The team moved from the Cave to the Lair in 2009. The Lair was bigger, unique, and renovated to fit the creative needs of the team. As the location grew, so did the team. The Zilla team evolved together to drastically increase their project potential, working with advance development projects such as: social network development, custom e-commerce platforms, advanced database systems, and completely customized solutions. Designzillas started showing off their fire-breathing capabilities.

Storming the Castle

In October 2011 the Designzillas team decided to migrate back to its origin in Downtown Orlando. Although Winter Park proved to be an amazing adventure for the group, their ultimate desire was to penetrate the heart of Central Florida. Now nesting in the Old Southern Bank building, Designzillas has officially claimed this Castle as their own. The downtown location is over 3,500 sqft, with customized unique renovations and windows galore. The Downtown Orlando web design food chain is about to get dominated. Situated on the corner of Orange and Robinson you can hear the roars of the Zillas as they begin a new chapter in their web design storybook.
