We’re huge fans of Dribbble—an online design community where designers post works in progress and final designs of client work. Our own DZ Dribbble account has been around for a few years online, and just this past year we had the pleasure of going to our very first in-person Dribbble Meetup as a team. We had such a great time collaborating with the local design community. We loved the Meetup so much, that we had to bring it back to our own home and host the very next one we could get our hands on.

Last week, we finally had the pleasure of opening the doors of our agency to the design community for Dribbble Orlando’s three-year anniversary Meetup!

Michael Forrest from Counter Brand & Type presented and gave a talk on logo design and company branding. He gave great tips on the branding process and how to questions clients to get the answers you need.

Michael also set up a breakout session where attendants grouped together to brainstorm questions for a client in need of a new logo. Together the Orlando community worked to figure out a great set of questions on topics ranging from aesthetics, delivery, client needs, and the audience.

We also had some great Zilla swag and Dribbble-themed snacks available for attendees to munch on while mingling.

We had such a great time with the local community, and want to say thanks to Daissy Linares, organizer of the Orlando Dribbble Meetup for organizing the event, and to Michael Forrest for presenting. If you get a chance, check out the Facebook album of the event, or check out our Dribbble feed. We’ll see you next time Dribbble Orlando!
