What inspired you to work in the Web Design industry?

After a stint in management positions within corporate America, I realized the importance of being part of a team and industry I truly believe in. Code and creativity colliding in the same space with a tight-knit high powered team of creatives seemed like the perfect fit. And it really is.

What’s your favorite aspect of the Web design process?

Planning phase. Collaborating with a team while we dive into a client's vision and goals to create a strategic plan that will give us an efficient execution is so challenging and exciting at the same time.

How would you describe your role at Designzillas?

My role is really to set the team up to win. I work to provide project plans and scope maintenance, manage resource allocation and scheduling, and clear roadblocks so our brilliant team can do what they do best.

Do you do anything unique to keep your team focused and motivated?

My top priority is creating an environment where team members can do their best work and have a good time, too. I try to do that through the little things though, even down to washing coffee mugs and watering the plants. I really believe focus and motivation are natural results of underlying support and trust from leadership.

What’s your favorite part about working at Designzillas?

DZ is truly my second home. I love being surrounded by so many brilliant, talented, creative minds every day. Every day is a new challenge and usually something new to celebrate as well. I couldn't imagine a better team to do it every day with.

Enough with the work stuff. Do you have any pets?

I have two cats named Aki and Musashi, and am the owner of one of our Barketing Team members - an Australian Shepherd mix named Ripley.

What’s your go-to party playlists?

Depending on the party, it’s anywhere from Black Sabbath and the Rolling Stones to Bone Thugs or Rae Sremmund. Music is a huge part of my life.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

I spend most of my time outside of work creating in different ways. Drawing and painting, sewing, Playing guitar and piano. Aside from that it’s just adventures in nature with my boyfriend and our pup.

If you could travel anywhere in the world at this very moment, where would you go?

To Sweden. I have wanted to go there as long as I can remember, but am a little worried I won't come home!
