Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Conversion Rate Optimization Strategist with a deep understanding of web optimization methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and the marketing technology stack to join our team. As a creative, technically savvy, and data-driven marketer, you are passionate about conversion optimization for scalable revenue growth, with a track record of consistently exceeding goals. In this role, you will oversee key conversion points in the marketing funnel and manage and optimize landing pages, website CTAs, and lead-generating forms. You will develop and execute conversion strategies, perform A/B testing, and continually measure the performance of CTAs.
As the CRO Strategist, you will be responsible for full funnel conversion optimization, including proposing hypotheses, implementing tests, and providing measurement, analysis, and recommendations to drive continuous conversion rate improvements. You will build and manage a backlog of test hypotheses and work with the team to prioritize and schedule a roadmap of tests. You will also create a vision and strategy for new pathways to conversion, including new landing pages, sign-up optimization, in-product messaging, special promotional offers, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CRO strategies: As a CRO Strategist, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement effective conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies that improve website performance, such as increasing conversion rates, improving user experience, and reducing bounce rates.
- Conduct user research: You will be responsible for conducting user research to understand users' behavior, preferences, and pain points. This includes analyzing website analytics data, conducting user surveys, and performing user tests to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop hypotheses and test plans: Based on user research, you will develop hypotheses and test plans to improve website performance. This includes identifying areas for improvement, developing A/B tests and other experiments, and monitoring test results.
- Analyze data and provide insights: You will be responsible for analyzing data and providing insights to clients and team members. This includes identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement and providing recommendations for optimizing website performance.
- Manage client relationships: You will be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring that clients are satisfied with the work being done. This includes communicating regularly with clients, addressing concerns and issues, and providing regular reports on the business impact of optimization efforts.
- Work with UX and design teams: You will work closely with UX and design teams to implement CRO strategies and experiments. This includes providing feedback on designs, developing wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring that website changes align with CRO goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends: You will need to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in CRO. This includes attending industry events, reading industry publications, and staying informed about changes to website design and development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of conversion rate optimization or web product A/B testing experience
- Good knowledge of SEO best practices and marketing programs
- Highly data-driven and capable of managing multiple metrics simultaneously
- Comfortable using Google Analytics, VWO, Excel, and Tableau to report and analyze the conversion rate
- Love to test with different design elements and creatives
- Excellent communication, roadmap management, and presentation skills
Compensation
Job Type: Full-time Employee
Annual Salary: $65,000-$70,000/Year
Bonus Potential: $500 - $2,000
