Job Description
We're looking for a full-stack WordPress developer to help work on various web development needs. From full site builds, adding features to sites via custom plugins, and general site maintenance, to scoping out web development project briefs and collaborating with internal and external resources. You'll also help answer technical questions from the team, and advise on how best to technically accomplish specific marketing requests.
Responsibilities
- Provide additional functionality for WordPress sites via custom themes and plugins
- Perform QA on development items completed by other team members
- Ensure cross-browser / device compatibility for all functionality
- Assist with the scope and create web development project briefs
- Create new site builds from scratch, based on designs from the creative team
- Provide answers to technical questions from the team
- Communicate and coordinate with clients and fellow team members to discuss website design and functionality
- Regularly perform general WordPress maintenance on partner sites
- Assist with urgent partner requests
- Maintain well-documented and reusable code
- Collaborate with the team to continually improve our internal tools and processes
Requirements
- Proficiency in both front and back-end WordPress development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN
- Functional knowledge of Object Oriented PHP (or other OO language)
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Experience working with debugging tools
- Excellent time management and communication skills
EXTRAS
- Experience with pre-compiled CSS
- Experience with the WordPress block editor, Divi, and Elementor
- Experience with build tools such as Gulp

SALARY
- $70,000-$80,000/Year
