Job Description

The ideal candidate will work directly with a small, value-focused team using Agile practices. This role will help drive the production team’s efficiency while maintaining our level of value and quality in our services to meet our client’s needs. Our new Marketing Team Lead must be flexible in adapting to changing requirements and hungry to drive positive improvements for our clients and within the agency.

Responsibilities

 

  • Own client management within a portfolio of 7-10 accounts and maintain communications with clients as their primary point of contact
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance of the team members within an Marketing Pod (Motivate, Inspire, Grow People)
  • Initiate conversations centered around client goals and help to define, coordinate and execute the plan alongside the Digital Marketing Strategist to ensure campaign objectives are met
  • Proactively manage a workload with a variety of detailed tasks / initiatives and ensure work is scheduled in the project management system and completed by the team meeting agreed upon deadlines
  • Proactively and continuously work with clients to capture task requirements, understand desired business goals and provide detailed instructions for team members
  • Ability to work with clients to prioritize and then communicate those priorities to the team, both for individual accounts and across multiple accounts in the portfolio
  • Frequently conduct and facilitate team meetings in adherence with the scrum framework
  • Maintain, communicate, and manage key performance indicators in order to track the team’s performance and success
  • Ability to work in various website and marketing tools to act as an auxiliary team member that can provide support
  • Provide monthly budget management and reporting to leadership on overall portfolio budget and profit health

Requirements

 

  • Has 2+ years of Project Management experience
  • Has 2+ years of experience as a primary point of contact for internal and / or external stakeholders
  • Has a background or experience in digital marketing and a desire to keep learning
  • Has experience using performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Is solution-oriented and comfortable taking ownership in leading a small team
  • Is comfortable encouraging accountability among team members
  • Has strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence their peers
  • Is flexible in response to change and juggling competing demands
  • Is an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Has strong time management, organization and prioritization skills
  • A love to learn and improve as an individual and a team
